Answer? Quite possibly! Granted, new computer prices are rock bottom these days and it seems they're practically giving them away out there. But you may feel you simply need a little more speed to accommodate today's newer software. Or maybe your computer performs great but you're running low on hard drive space. If only you had a CD burner - things would be just fine.
These are all good reasons to upgrade instead of buying new. Don't forget, once you buy a new machine you still need to somehow transfer all your data from the old machine to the new. The point is, upgrading can still be an economical alternative to buying a whole new machine. Most upgrades cost less than $200!
